HERNDON, VA--(Marketwired - May 13, 2013) - EADS North America today announced the appointment of Dave Tarbell as Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President for Trade and Security. In his capacity as Chief Compliance Officer, Dave Tarbell reports directly to Sean O'Keefe, Chairman and CEO of EADS North America, and to Pedro Montoya, the EADS Group Chief Compliance Officer.
Tarbell is responsible for all aspects of Ethics and Compliance for EADS North America, including overseeing trade and security compliance. Tarbell has held a number of senior positions in both the public and private sector. He held various positions in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense for over 20 years, ending his tenure as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Technology Security Policy.
Tarbell previously served on the staff of the White House National Security Council. He was most recently an independent international trade consultant advising U.S. and non-U.S. defense, aerospace and commercial clients on compliance with laws and regulations governing export control, anti-bribery, security and economic sanctions.
