"I do indeed want a PR but when things are clearly fixed and we have all the facts."
Do you think the PPS can hold out that long? Because we will likely not have all the facts until this gets resolved in court, or JC gives up and goes away. What do you think the timeline will be for either of those actions?
IMO... there is still far to many assumptive type statements being made by those that really don't have all facts, just an opinion. There would be nothing better than to have the CEO draft a comprehensive statement describing the issues involved and the remedies being pursued. What harm could that possible do? IMO he has already missed an opportunity to get out in front of this situation and maintain the then current PPS. Had a comprehensive statement been issued early, I doubt the conversation today about the wild speculations would have been so intense, or the PPS would be where it is.
And regarding you opinion on affiliates not caring about this situation... what do you base that opinion on? PunchTV is not the only game in town. Affiliates have choices when choosing who to carry. If you were an affiliate making that choice, would you chose a company who's owners are fighting... or one without controversy ? Controversy is not a marketable asset, unless you're a reality show.
