Nice to see the strength in the share price the past hour or so.
I have been in and out of penny stocks for more than 30 years. Most of them are "story" stocks with very little chance of generating revenues and earnings. Once in awhile a low price stock like MPIX comes along. Business minded people and/or entrepreneurs will take over a shell of a publicly traded company and completely change the business plan of the company.
I am new to MPIX and hold a relatively small stake (3.6 million shares) when compared to other shareholders. What I have learned, in the past few weeks, is what I have noted above. New management has come in with a new business plan. They are quickly putting their leadership team together. Hopefully, at the same time, they are coming to contractual agreements so revenue can be generated in the near future.
Thanks to Harold and others on this thread, a number of people have been introduced to MPIX while it was a sub-penny stock and very easy to purchase and accumulate a significant number of shares. Even though there is a substantial number of MPIX shares, the majority of the shares are held by a relatively small number of shareholders. This will bode well for the share price once key announcements are made and MPIX begins to appear on the radar screens of a lot of penny stock investors. These investors will be looking not for a story stock but for a stock that can generate revenue and earnings. Many of these investors will come in and out for a flip but that is ok. As a small number of shareholders own most of the shares now and plan on keeping these shares for a substantial return, present shareholders will see great opportunities to sell at prices 20 to 30 times what the share price is now. Personally, I plan on selling a portion of my shares at those higher prices while keeping a good percentage for a even higher price a year or two down the road.
We need the company to announce the 400 million share common/preferred conversion has taken place. That alone can move the share price up 25 to 50% from where it is now and begin to get possible new shareholders interested in MPIX. Then the releases letting everyone know what contracts they have signed so it becomes clear that MPIX is not simply a story stock but an actual revenue producing and successful company. If leadership can make the right moves, early MPIX shareholders can be greatly rewarded.
Until then, we may see a trading range from 1 to 2 cents.
