Hollund Industrial Marine Expands Relations - Set To Move On Second Concession
Strategic Alliance with Latin Lumber Company, Central & South American Lobbyist, Contribute to HIMR's Recent Flow of Opportunity
BLAINE, Wash., May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. (pinksheets:HIMR) ("Hollund" or the "Company") announced today that the company has expanded its consultancy base and strategic alliances in Central & South America, affording HIMR greater political and socioeconomic access to concession and distribution outlets throughout Latin America.
"With the assistance of North Cal, we have developed a strategic alliance and working relationship with a prominent Central American lumber company," stated Peter Meier, President of Hollund Industrial Marine. "This relationship has broadened our distribution channels significantly - giving us the ability to more efficiently mill and distribute various tree species within local economies."
The company has also secured the support of a Latin American 'lobbyist,' to manage and negotiate various political, industrial and indigenous relationships throughout the region. This consultancy has already "resulted in the near completion of our first concession," continued Meier.
People close to the company indicate that the concession currently under negotiation was not initially on HIMR's radar. The opportunity was introduced and managed by the company's consulting lobbyist. Management further indicated that two similar opportunities have been identified by the Latin American lobbyist and are presently being pursued on the company's behalf.
Mr. Meier concluded, "Having a well-heeled and very well respected professional political representative within both the United States and Latin America is proving paramount to our success in the Central and Southern regions of the continent."
People close to the company suggest that the second concession HIMR is likely to begin securing was derived from a combination of efforts between the Central American lumber company and the Latin American Lobbyist. Management is confident that its South American Project Development Team will continue to expand and solidify relationships throughout the region and is expected to secure at least two concessions in 2013.
