Can someone tell me if an 8k is absolutely require

Can someone tell me if an 8k is absolutely required here? There have been quite a few posts saying it has to be posted within a certain number of days but is this an absolute requirement? Anticipation based on presumptions are bad news (eg, "we are gonna be mentioned on shark tank!"). Just want the right DD to give the right perspective here. TIA.
