Since Kevetrin is more of a PH1/2 trial right now

Since Kevetrin is more of a PH1/2 trial right now and should show efficacy as well as MDT from the current trial, plus having no real poisons as most current chemo drugs do resulting in what we hope are very minor side effects for the positive benefits received, would you agree that it should have a much better chance of succeeding in further trial stages than all preceding cancer drugs?
I guess I am still wearing my rose-colored glasses, or am just too naive regarding clinical trials to know better, but I think this first trial is the most critical and later stages will be a cakewalk. If I am wrong, don't wake me as the dream is very pleasant.
