Junebug, I am on my way out for another doctors appointment. But I feel this is very good news. Hollund entered into talks with the Brazilian authorities a week ago, and their study indicates that they can clear this reservoir in about six months --- not the two to five years previously thought. So why wouldn't the concession be granted? Brazil was happy with AQCI when they worked in Brazil, and now Hollund can do the job faster and better. That means less harm to the environment and less disruption for the reservoir. Both are big pluses for Brazil. For Hollund, this actually creates a problem, but a good one. Now, NorthCal must kick into high gear to figure out how to market the large volume of timber that Hollund can harvest so rapidly. In my opinion, this ability to clear a reservoir so rapidly means more concessions are likely to come Hollund's way, and sooner than expected. In fact, while Brazil might have considered using more than one harvesting company in the past, now they are much less likely to do so.
