Up until this point, everything Collins has done is laughable. He has done it on free PR sites and the Punch TV site. He has come onto a public stock chat forum. He has used his own letterhead with no attorney signature. IMO, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt to try and get what he wants. It reminds of those situations we've heard about lately in the news where a person doesn't get the customer service they prefer and a company is not willing to fix the problem, so that person makes a youtube video, the video calls viral, and suddenly the company is happy to fix their problem.
In this situation, though, it's much deeper than that. I'm not sure Collins really has a leg to stand on. Otherwise Steve would have received a cease-and-desist letter a long time ago from a real attorney. I would equate everything I've seen from Collins so far to that youtube video situation. Scream loud enough until you get something you want.
Has Collins really even hired an attorney? Has he really filed a complaint with the SEC? Or is he just trying to create enough publicity surrounding this situation by making his own form of a "youtube video" that Steve will give him Punch back just to shut him up? Or Has Collins pushed the wrong buttons here, and Steve will fight 'til the final blow here?
