ValueCentric Acquires GHX Channel Intelligence Business

ORCHARD PARK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 30, 2013) - ValueCentric, LLC and GHX, both privately held companies, jointly announced today that ValueCentric has acquired GHX's Channel Intelligence business. The Channel Intelligence acquisition provides an expanded and complementary market presence for ValueCentric's healthcare focused data management and analytics service solutions. The customers of Channel Intelligence consist of market leaders among the broad spectrum of medical products manufacturers. This acquisition integrates with ValueCentric's strategy to expand its healthcare footprint and further leverage its award-winning analytical platform, ValueTrak, as well as its online knowledge portal, VCIQ.com.

As manufacturers in the healthcare market increasingly focus on supply chain efficiencies, clearer channel visibility and timely product movement data, ValueCentric continues to pioneer innovative technologies and services to leverage this operating data for the purpose of impacting business strategy and optimizing product lifecycles. Channel Intelligence is a proactive software and service solution that manages and analyzes manufacturer sales tracings, pricing strategies, chargeback claims and GPO administration fees. The medical product manufacturers using Channel Intelligence are able to optimally target sales opportunities, identify missing or incorrect sales data, streamline contract validation processes and reduce overpayments. ValueCentric's deep product and service portfolio along with the domain knowledge of the Channel Intelligence group is expected to greatly enhance the existing customers' analytical options.

"ValueCentric is delighted to welcome the Channel Intelligence business into our corporate family. As a trusted service provider in the healthcare space, we are intensely focused on delivering state-of-the-art solutions that efficiently manage large data volumes and deliver comprehensive analytical capabilities for medical products manufacturers," said Dave Janca, Founder and CEO of ValueCentric. "During the transition of the Channel Intelligence business we are prepared to continue to provide exceptional service and support to customers while we implement our strategy to rapidly integrate this business, and provide new service offerings and capabilities on the ValueTrak Platform. Strategically, we are excited about the opportunity we have to bring our existing technology and new services to a great customer base. We see tremendous opportunity in this market and we expect to build on our prior successes. Over 200 healthcare companies trust us to provide unprecedented market insights and enhanced business relationships through shared actionable information -- and we stand poised to deliver that same promise to our new medical product manufacturer customers."

ValueCentric and GHX are confident that the Channel Intelligence acquisition will offer a new depth of best practices in data management and analytics for medical products participants. "As GHX continues its commitment to delivering the products and services that help our customers reduce costs through greater automation and efficiency in their supply chain practices, it's also been our goal to create even greater focus on the Channel Intelligence product line. To this end, we are pleased to announce the acquisition of Channel Intelligence by ValueCentric. This organization brings both an understanding of the business and a strong ability to focus on these important services. The interest that ValueCentric has shown in expanding the Channel Intelligence offering to new dimensions presents a great opportunity for our manufacturing customers," said Bruce Johnson, president and CEO of GHX. "ValueCentric and GHX are partnering closely in order to provide a seamless transition after the acquisition."
