As a long term value investor, I make it a habit never to generalize. Each company story has its own particular path. Sure, we all know all about how speculative pink sheets stocks are. I don't think anyone interested in RFMK who follows the story closely has been duped by others into buying the stock; there are plenty of bashers and those attacking the company executives claiming they are scamsters, etc to keep the buyers away from the stock should they be influenced by what the bashers spew on other boards. Most if not all of us RFMK loyal followers have our eyes wide open and know the pitfalls of pink sheets stocks and the ongoing dilution in all of them. Most fail, some show success, many get locked by the DTCC without an official reason. We can only speculate but what we do know is that PK stocks are highly volatile, thinly traded and so very speculative. I think its another reason why investors/traders should "play" or invest in these stocks by using caution but also not be bullied around by some who feel the need to bash the stock, management and shareholders 24/7/365.
Anything is possible, no one can know the future. The ecig companies have obviously not performed very well over the years but the industry is still young and there is potential for growth. We shall see what happens. RFMK was the last PK stock I will ever invest or trade in, for now I am sticking to day trading currencies. There is a LOT of money to be made in the currency market.
Cheers
