Prior to his role at Pacific Venture Fund, he co-founded Solby, a multinational holding company. Through his position as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Solby, Boris Goldstein joined the boards of several influential financial companies, including Trans Global Ventures, CBSF Group, and E*Trade Eurasia.
Although his current vocation focuses on finance and investment, Dr. Goldstein initially worked in software development. He launched that career while studying at Riga Technical University. After transitioning from the software to the finance industry, Boris Goldstein continued to patent his inventions. Most recently, he filed several patents in 2010, one of which was a method and system for an integrated intelligent building. Although most of his patents relate to software development, he also patented a method of increasing productivity of oil, gas, and hydrogeological wells in collaboration with four other inventors.
