As all of you read about the snowstorm in northren WIsc today, I have to tell you my sister was born in Ashland, Wisc on May 12, 1954. She was born in the middle of a snowstorm -- but I don't know if it was quite as big of one. Not only that, my mom had to drive herself to the hospital which was about 40 miles away because my dad was on the road. When I asked her increduously, what did she do while she was having a contraction, she shrugged her shoulders and told me she pulled off to the side of the road.
I am all for somewhere warm.
