("Orofino" or the "Company") (ORFG.PK) on behalf of Board of Directors the Company is pleased to announce that the Company, as a result of various site visits and meetings with Colombian and US Geologists who are well informed on this area, have estimated that within the areas of existing lode mines there are significant amounts of Gold along with Silver and Copper. The Company has been focused on the surrounding areas of existing gold mines where assays have averaged about 20 grams per ton and extensions of known systems run for many hundreds of meters. The target is to prove up to more than 1,000,000 ounces of Gold with a Silver and Copper credits.
This model is of great interest to the company where the current development program is to work the rich gold bearing veins while the exploration team targets large, multi-million ounce bulk minable Gold deposits.
This model has been proven out by 2 Multi-National Mining Companies at La Colossa concession to the south west where they have drilled off in excess of 14 million ounces of gold to date.
