Just something to think about...
Terms (some but not all) of Mr. Collins employment contract were posted for all to see. I find it interesting that when referring to milestones Mr. Collins needed to reach for the triggering of incentive compensation, some were reached (see clarification below), like the 30-million households, and the number of affiliates. They were items number 1 and 2. Now take notice to item number 3, namely the achievement of 10-million in revenue. And also notice that the incentive payout for reaching item number 3 is smaller than items number 1 and 2, which could indicate they thought that milestone would be easier to reach.
I think item number 3 is VERY interesting because it is related to items number 1 and 2, in that, if items number 1 and 2 were used as a milestone, both parties must have deemed them achievable. AND... by most accounts, they have already been achieved. Now the exciting part... if the parties thought these items were achievable... how far off can the achieving of item number 3 be??? If items number 1 and 2 were achieved in relatively short order, can achievement of item number 3 be far behind?
Now, this observation is merely to point out what may be possible in the not-so-distant future relative to revenue. The discussion on Mr. Collins achieving these goals related to Mr. Collins recent action - is another discussion. Just wanted to point out that if both parties agreed at some point that these milestones were achievable, then how far behind can achievement of number 3 be?
I can't wait for the Q that reports 10-million in revenue !
