IMO, many conditions could be present here;
We've seen a number of days in the past, where the short selling percentage data was very high. The drop in short selling in combination with the high volume could be a number of conditions.
1) Shorts covering.
2) Further conversions. In the past, at times short percentages resulted in a rise in the ss itself. It was indicated to me last week, there would be further conversions; however, it was stated at the time, that the volume of future conversions would be significantly lower than presented before.
3) MM were provided information that new shares would be hitting the market and they short sold (for example @ 0.0006-0.0007 and covered when shares became available from the company @ 0.0004. If this were true the last 55ml sold at the high end and provided at the low end would have generated some $16,500.00. Not huge cash but very decent for one or two days.
Like I had said in a prior post, I'll wait and see the ss next week and then I'll see what management will comment on. There is also the possibility of the cd holder converting last week only to buy back at a much lower pp, this could also account for significant volume and a reduced short %. Of course if this were the case one would have to think that this person or group expects the stock to make a good recovery from this point on.
