Arbor Networks' Carlos Morales to Present on the DDoS and Broader Advanced Threat Landscape at This Week's FS-ISAC Summit

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2013) - Arbor Networks, Inc. , a leading provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks, is presenting at the FS-ISAC Summit in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, taking place this week, April 28-May 1. Carlos Morales, Arbor Networks' vice president of sales engineering and operations, is speaking on the topic of "Understanding the Internet Threat Landscape and Protecting your Network."

In his talk, Mr. Morales will discuss lessons learned from the recent "Triple Crown" financial services attacks that have taken DDoS to a new level of sophistication by blocking online availability to accounts, resources and critical functionality. The talk will discuss why these attacks have challenged the protection provided by typical carriers and managed service providers and what financial institutions can do to protect themselves and their customers against these multi-vector, multi-customer attacks.

WHAT : The Internet threat landscape has changed over the last few years, with attacks growing more commonplace and significantly increasing in complexity. This presentation uses data from Arbor Network's 2012 Worldwide Infrastructure Security Report and from Arbor's ATLAS threat database to explore the current Internet threat landscape. It then discusses best practices for protecting your network against these threats.
