TECO Mitchell Lease

TNC's rig on the Mitchell lease in Texas has officially spudded in.

Treaty Energy Corporation (TECO) has received confirmation from TNC and TECO’s field operations in W. Texas that TNC has officially spudded in on the first of the two Mitchell wells.

TNC arrived on the Mitchell lease and began conducting final drilling preparations and placed the drill into position the following day.  Once TNC completed a final check on the equipment, field operations gave the go ahead to spud in on the morning of April 24, 2013. As of 2:05PM CDT the drill was at approximately 100ft.

The twin Mitchell wells (Mitchell 3&4) will be drilled to a total depth (TD) of 4,800ft. 

TECO looks forward to updating investors on the drill’s progress and will update investors more when it receives further information from field operations.
