Sage Communications Names Christi Rich Director of

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 17, 2013) - Sage Communications, a leading full-service marketing communications and public relations firm based in the D.C. Metro area, hired Christi Rich as Director of Events. In her role, Ms. Rich will lead the event management division, which offers a full spectrum of event marketing services -- strategic planning, design and execution -- to Sage's current and future clients.

Ms. Rich has more than a decade of experience working with leading corporate, non-profit, education, and government clients, both domestic and abroad. Spanning her career, she has built an impressive event portfolio consisting of multi-day special events, galas and conferences to meetings, team building excursions, exclusive dinners, and receptions. Guest lists for these events have included members of the current Administration, members of Congress, international heads of state, and royalty -- all requiring an extensive knowledge of protocol.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Tourism Administration with a concentration in Event Management from The George Washington University.
