.The purchase of MSE Inc. by Global Technologies Group Inc. continues to progress and both sides say the sale could be finalized by mid-August.
James Fallacaro, chief executive officer of Global Technologies, said he has had senior management and technical experts out at the MSE facilities over the last month. He also said he will visit Butte later in July to meet with the entire MSE staff and the Butte business community.
“We are just going to keep moving forward looking to get this done” said Fallacaro. “We’re satisfied with all the information we’ve been getting. We haven’t seen anything that would raise an eyebrow.”
Jim Kambich, director of Montana Economic Revitalization and Development Institute, which owns MSE, agreed that things were moving ahead. He said staff “has been able to provide (Fallacaro) all the information, getting all the due diligence items to him in a timely manner.”
Fallacaro said he plans to relocate all Global Technologies companies from their current home in Florida to the MSE campus in Butte, which will add local employment. However, there are currently few employees of Global Technologies and sister company Global Technology Holdings, which until this purchase has solely been in the business of acquiring licenses, distribution and reseller contracts in the environmental and defense industries.
Fallacaro said they plan to invest both money and manpower “to bring MSE back up to full speed.”
Fallacaro said that he was looking forward to arriving in Butte and explaining his plans.
“It’s important to look somebody in the eye and listen and talk to them, so they know that you’re for real,” he said.
