Conducted by a leading accounting firm, OneNeck's SSAE 16 focuses on procedures, including physical and environmental security, problem management, technical support, customer ordering/service delivery, network equipment monitoring, and organization and administration. The Service Organization Control (SOC 1) reports on controls at a service organization relevant to user entities' internal controls over financial reporting. The Type 2 report focuses on management's description of the service organization's system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of the controls to achieve the related control objectives included in the description throughout a specified period.
OneNeck's controls for the audit were created using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices in information assurance and security. The systems and processes evaluated in this audit included: organizational and management control environment, computer operations, physical security, information security, incident management, change management, internal systems management, and application development.
