With both Fibre Channel and iSCSI host connectivity, the single controller Vess R2000 models deliver significantly faster throughput which on average is twice as fast as the 1000 Series. Customers have the option to upgrade to dual controllers as their needs evolve with the 'Controller Upgrade Kit' and with broad support for 4TB hard disk drives customers can scale each single storage node up to an impressive 448TB of raw capacity through cascading JBOD expansion units. In addition, with certification for the world's leading virtualization platforms, the Vess R2000 can be used to effectively reduce IT expenses while improving efficiency and agility.
