2012 research has revealed that seven out of 10 people search for jobs on their mobile devices. However, most company career sites are not optimized for mobile, and the mobile interfaces to popular job boards feature only text-based job descriptions. Since humans are visual creatures, and mobile devices are particularly well-suited for browsing visual content, the mobile job search and recruitment experience is long overdue for a visual upgrade.
According to research firm Bersin by Deloitte, roughly one-eighth of new hires leave the company within the first 12 months.
