Standard Register had previously expected pension contributions for 2012 through 2014 to total $112 million. With relief provided by the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), commonly referred to as the highway bill, the Company expects to reduce the total by ~$17 million, to $95 million

Additionally, the Company funded a $5 million leasing reserve and agreed to a full cash sweep of excess operating cash flow beginning on September 9, 2012. Excess operating cash flow (cash flow after the funding of certain reserves, the payment of property operating expenses and the payment of debt service) will be applied to fund a $1.5 million capital expenditure reserve, to fund an additional $5 million into the leasing reserve, and thereafter, to reduce the outstanding principal balance of the loan.

8:35AM Capstone Turbine received multiple orders from two natural gas service companies in Colombia that total two megawatts of prime power generation ( CPST ) 1.04 : The first of the two new orders secured by Capstone Distributor Supernova Energy Services was for the purchase of two Capstone Microturbines - a C1000 and C200 - which will be used in a combined heat and power application for a large gas treatment plant near Yopal, Colombia. A second microturbine order Supernova recently secured is for a Capstone C800 Power Package by a large natural gas transportation company based in Barranquilla, Colombia.

8:33AM Unit agrees to acquire Oil & Gas assets in the Anadarko Basin of Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle for $617.1 mln in cash; updates segment operations ( UNT ) 36.10 : Unit ( UNT ) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Unit Petroleum, has entered into an agreement to acquire certain oil and natural gas assets from Noble Energy (NBL) that include ~84,000 net acres primarily in the Granite Wash, Cleveland, and Marmaton plays in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, for $617.1 mln in cash. The effective date of this acquisition is April 1, 2012, and closing is anticipated to be in September 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. As of the effective date, the estimated proved reserves of the subject properties is 44 mln barrels of oil equivalent and the estimated average daily net production is 10,000 Boe. The acquisition will add ~25,000 net acres to Unit Petroleum's Granite Wash core area in the Texas Panhandle with significant resource potential and would include 617 potential horizontal drilling locations. Unit will also receive two gathering systems as part of the transaction.

8:08AM Eli Lilly announced Pomaglumetad Methionil did not meet primary endpoint of clinical study ( LLY ) 42.85 : Co announced negative clinical trial results from study H8Y-MC-HBBM investigating pomaglumetad methionil, also known as mGlu2/3, for the treatment of patients suffering an acute exacerbation of schizophrenia. In study HBBM, pomaglumetad methionil did not separate from placebo in the primary efficacy endpoint in either the overall or predefined genetic subpopulation at the two doses investigated. The active control, risperidone, did separate from placebo in both populations. Pomaglumetad methionil was generally well tolerated in this study, with no new safety findings compared to previous trials. Data will be shared at a later date at an appropriate scientific venue.

8:05AM Echo Therapeutics expands license agreement with Ferndale Pharma ( ECTE ) 1.67 : Co announced that it signed an amended license agreement with Ferndale Pharma Group that grants Ferndale the right to develop, market and sell Prelude for painless, needle-free skin preparation prior to the application of topical 4% lidocaine cream for fast-acting, local dermal anesthesia prior to a wide-range of needle-based medical procedures. In addition to the original territory of North America and the United Kingdom, the amended license agreement covers South America, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland and portions of the European Community.

8:03AM PLX Tech announced Entropic Communications (ENTR) acquired specific direct broadcast satellite intellectual property and corresponding technologies from the co for $8 mln ( PLXT ) 5.90 : The purchased assets relate to the design and development of a digital channel stacking switch semiconductor product for up to $8 million. In addition to the asset purchase agreement, Entropic will pay a one-time $4 million licensing fee for intellectual property which is related to the acquired assets.

8:02AM Hemispherx Biopharma: FDA agreed to accept, for review, new analyses of data from AMP-516 Phase III Clinical Trial in support of its Ampligen NDA; Targeted Filing Date 3Q12 ( HEB ) 0.28 : Co recently met with representatives of the FDA. At that meeting, the FDA agreed to accept, for review, new analyses of data from Hemispherx's AMP-516 Phase III Clinical Trial  in support of its New Drug Application for Ampligen. If found sufficient to support approval of the drug, these new analyses will be in lieu of an additional confirmatory Phase III study called for in the Agency's November 25, 2009, Complete Response Letter. The FDA has advised that whether the new analyses provide adequate evidence of Ampligen's efficacy in treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome will ultimately be a review issue. Co plans to submit the complete response in the 3rd quarter 2012. The FDA has advised that, once submitted, the complete response will be on a six month review cycle at the FDA. The FDA's agreement to review the complete response does not commit the Agency to approve the Ampligen.

8:01AM Alcoa and Airbus Sign Multi-Year Supply Agreements For Rolled and Extruded Products ( AA ) 8.39 : Co announces it has signed new multi-year supply agreements with Airbus for Alcoa's aerospace aluminum sheet, plate and hard alloy extruded products utilizing Alcoa's advanced-generation and aluminum lithium alloys. The agreements were signed this week at the Farnborough Air Show. Terms were not disclosed, but the agreements have a value of approximately US$1.4 bln over their life. Alcoa's products will be used across virtually all Airbus commercial programs.

8:01AM NuPathe announces allowance of additional U.S. patent application for NP202 ( PATH ) 3.62 : Co announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for U.S. Patent Application 11/195,845 titled "Drug Containing Implants and Methods of Use Thereof." The allowed claims relate to a rod-shaped implant or structure that delivers therapeutic levels of risperidone for 20 to 190 days as well as to methods for treating medication noncompliance-associated diseases including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Given this action, NuPathe expects the patent to issue within the next few months. Once issued, it will provide patent protection through December 2027 for NP202, NuPathe's long-term biodegradable risperidone implant for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. NuPathe has a portfolio of additional licensed patent applications pending in the U.S. and other territories for NP202.

GeoGlobal sold the shares of ILDE through two Israeli investment houses, on an off market basis, at a 12% discount to market due to the shares being restricted until the end of August 2012. Net proceeds to GeoGlobal from the sale of the shares are approximately $1.4 million.

7:01AM Given Imaging announces reimbursement in Japan for expanded PillCam SB indications ( GIVN ) 16.74 : Co announced that the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Korean Intellectual Property Office said that the company's two Korean patents are valid. The ruling on part of Given Imaging's patent infringement lawsuit against Intromedic Co. Ltd. was filed with Seoul's Central District Court in November 2011. Given Imaging contended that Intromedic's capsule endoscope, marketed under the brand name MiroCam, infringed two of Given Imaging's Korean patents.

7:01AM Golar LNG Partners announces pricing of public offering ( GMLP ) 32.15 : Co announced that it has priced its follow-on public offering of 5,500,000 common units, which represent limited partner interests, at a price of $30.95 per unit. The Partnership has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 825,000 common units. In addition, Golar LNG Limited ("Golar LNG") has agreed to purchase directly from the Partnership in a private placement 969,305 common units at a price of $30.95 per unit, such private placement to close concurrently with the public offering of common units.

6:59AM Sino-Forest announced earlier that it is proceeding to implement restructuring transaction contemplated by the Restructuring Support Agreement and that it terminated sale solicitation process ( SNOFF.PK ) 1.38 : Co announced that it is proceeding to implement the previously announced restructuring transaction pursuant to which its creditors will acquire substantially all of the assets of the co in accordance with the terms described in the Restructuring Support Agreement entered into by certain noteholders and the co on March 30, 2012. • Orexigen Therapeutics ( OREX ) announced an update to the projected timeframe for completion of enrollment of the Light Study, the Contrave cardiovascular outcomes clinical trial. Co now expects to complete enrollment of patients required for the interim analysis of the Light Study in 1Q2013, potentially reducing by half the original projections.

6:45AM Northern Oil & Gas reports that it expects Q2 2012 production to increase ~20% compared to first quarter 2012 ( NOG ) 15.30 : Co reported that Q2 2012 production to increase ~20% compared to first quarter 2012, resulting in an average of ~10,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day.  During the first two months of the quarter, the weighted average days on production was ~52 out of a possible 61 producing days, or ~85% of potential producing days.  Preliminary estimates of June's weighted average days on production appear to be consistent with the first two months of the second quarter.  During the second quarter of 2012, Northern Oil had ~162 gross wells completed and placed into production.  As of June 30, 2012, Northern Oil was producing from a total of 955 gross wells.

6:39AM Patriot Coal receives court approval of $802 mln of DIP financing on interim basis ( PCXCQ ) 0.61 : Co announces that the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York granted Patriot interim approval of its $802 mln Debtor-in-Possession financing from Citigroup Global Markets, Barclays Bank, and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith as joint lead arrangers, and granted Patriot interim authorization to access immediately $677 mln of the DIP financing. 6:32AM Timmins Gold closes amendment to its CAD $18 mln credit agreement with Sprott Resource Lending Partnership ( TGD ) 1.81 : The amended credit agreement has a term of 18 months ending December 31, 2013. Interest is payable in monthly installments at the rate of 8% per annum. Payment of the principal amount outstanding will be made at the end of the term. In consideration of the extension, a bonus payment of 217,918 common shares of Timmins Gold was paid, representing 2% of the principal amount of the loan at a price equal to a 10% discount to the 5 day weighted average trading price on the TSX of the shares of Timmins Gold. The Bonus Shares are subject to a four month hold period expiring November 5, 2012. In the event the loan has not been repaid by July 5, 2013, a further fee of 1% of the loan amount outstanding on that date will be paid to the Lender in common shares priced at the same discount on that date. The Anniversary Shares, if issued, will be subject to a four month hold period.

6:07AM Teva Pharma announces favorable United Kingdom court ruling in COPAXONE patent litigation proceeding ( TEVA ) 39.31 : Co announced that the United Kingdom High Court of Justice issued a decision in favor of Teva in a patent litigation proceeding against Generics (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Mylan Laboratories (MYL), on July 11, 2012. Generics (UK) Limited commenced the proceeding in the UK to seek the revocation of European Patent (UK) 762,888, a patent for COPAXONE (glatiramer acetate injection) expiring May 23, 2015, and to obtain a declaration that its proposed generic version of COPAXONE would not infringe the '888 patent. The High Court specifically determined that the asserted claims of the '888 patent were valid, and also declined to issue a declaration that Generics UK's proposed generic version of COPAXONE would not infringe the '888 patent. Any potential generic version of COPAXONE would require a marketing authorization from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency before it could be commercialized.

3:42AM NYSE Euronext reports trading volumes in June lower across most venues both YoY and sequentially ( NYX ) 41.01 : Co announces trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for June 20121. Trading volumes in June 2012 were mostly down year-over-year and month-over-month with the exception of European cash trading, which increased 9.9% compared to the prior year and increased 3.5% compared to May 2012. For the second quarter, trading volumes increased from weak first quarter 2012 levels. Other highlights include: (-) NYSE Euronext global derivatives ADV in June 2012 of 8.3 million contracts decreased 5.9% compared to June 2011 and decreased 10.6% from May 2012 levels. (-) NYSE Euronext European derivatives products ADV in June 2012 of 4.6 million contracts decreased 0.8% compared to June 2011 and decreased 8.5% from May 2012. Excluding Bclear, NYSE Liffe's trade administration and clearing service for OTC products, European derivatives products ADV decreased 11.6% compared to June 2011 and decreased 4.8% from May 2012 levels. (-) NYSE Euronext U.S. equity options ADV of 3.6 million contracts in June 2012 decreased 11.7% compared to June 2011 levels and decreased 13.8% from May 2012. 2:28AM Royal Dutch Shell signs SPA to acquire Gasnor ( RDS.A ) 67.53 : Co, the current owner of 4.1% of the shares in Gasnor AS, has signed a Share Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of the remaining outstanding shares in the co for $74 mln. Subject to Norwegian regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to be closed in the 3rd quarter of 2012. Through this acquisition, RDS will capitalise on Gasnor's experience in LNG sales and marketing, combining it with its own customer reach to target European marine customers ahead of new environmental regulations that will come into force from 2015.

12:55AM DIRECTV: Viacom (VIAB) drops 17 national networks from DIRECTV Lineup after ignoring DTV's latest proposal ( DTV ) 48.69 : Co announces customers were left without Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and 14 other channels, after Viacom (VIA.B) dropped its networks from DIRECTV at approximately midnight EDT. DIRECTV executives reached out to Viacom both yesterday and today with a new proposal and a request to keep the channels on while we continued to negotiate, but never heard back, so DIRECTV had to comply with their demand to take the channels down or face legal action.

12:44AM Whitestone REIT reports 6% Increase in Occupancy Q2 2012 vs Q2 2011 ( WSR ) 13.73 : Co reports occupancy and leasing highlights for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012. The physical occupancy of its Operating Portfolio1 was 87% as of June 30, 2012, reflecting a 6% percent increase over the year-ago first quarter ended June 30, 2011 and a 2% increase versus the prior quarter ended March 31, 2012. The co's total occupancy was 87% as of the end of the current quarter, a 2% increase from March 31, 2012. Whitestone's leasing team signed 92 leases totaling 190,000 square feet in new and renewal leases during the second quarter, and added 22 new tenants to its roster of primarily small entrepreneurial retail service business tenants.
