Re: bluhorshu #3809

Good post.  One of the initial problems is the level of discussion we came from.  Which was little to nothing.  The bashers would make the same charges over and over and over for years day in and day out.  The resposible posters, who either wanted to post reliable info or just have a good discussion, were drowned out by the bashers.  If we hadn't found this site, I doubt hardly anyone would be posting today.  The bashers mostly set the ground rules on the other board.  Just say something often enough and get other bashers to agree with you and it must be true. Like they've been saying for over two years this company is going bankrupt.  Well, you say the sky is falling for long enough and nobody pays you attention anymore. Which brings us to today.  What is a discussion?  Two people having a conversation. One person makes a statement or asks a question.  Someone else responds.  Typically, a basher does not want to answer questions.  He only wants to refute something you said.  I honestly don't think some peoples questions are asked but for the sole reason to make a point.  As I've been reading today, I thought, Wer, you are a brave soul to open this can.  Is it possible to have a discussion?  Yes and no.  With some yes, with others no. I like the idea though.  Not only for here but for future stocks. And for those posters who you do not wish to engage, there is always the ignore button. Good for you, Wer, and your efforts to bring us out of the playpen. My best to all,  Jim
