I rather doubt that Italy or Spain would be so idiotic as to dump their gold reserves, and the decisions would, thankfully, belong mainly to the respective central banking authorities, but in both countries irresponsible populism has become a huge problem. Marc Faber, Jim Rogers, Jim Sinclair and other strategists with a good track record see a great future for silver and gold, but the turning point could still be a few weeks away. When the Bank of England sold a huge quantity of gold right at the market bottom, at $250, that was a historic demonstration of how to get things 100% wrong.
