Agricultural Bank of China Limited provides corporate and retail banking products and services in the People’s Republic of China. It operates through four segments: Corporate Banking, Personal Banking, Treasury Operations, and Others and Unallocated. The company’s retail banking products and services include demand, time, and call deposits; residential mortgage loans, personal consumption loans, personal business loans, and credit cards and overdrafts; debit cards; settlement services; and financial management, asset management, advisory and consulting, cross-border financial, and other services. Its corporate banking services comprise of corporate demand, call, negotiated, time, and agreed-term deposits, as well as agreement savings accounts; fixed asset loans, domestic and international trade finance, guarantees and commitment, working capital loans, real estate loans, and entrusted syndicated loans; and payment and settlement, cash management, foreign exchange and RMB trading, and investment and wealth management services. The company’s corporate banking services also include investment banking services consisting of financing, financial advisory, and asset management; custody services; bank cards; financial market services comprising money market, transaction, precious metal, bond underwriting and distribution, agency wealth management, and bill businesses; financial institution services that include inter-bank, bank-securities, bank-futures, and bank-insurance cooperation services; loans for small enterprises; and other services. It also offers agro-related personal and corporate banking products and services; and Internet, telephone, mobile, television, SMS, and self-service banking services, as well as e-commerce solutions.
