The announcement was made through the force’s twitter feed, @DubaiPoliceHQ, which sparked off a frenzy of tweets with the hash tag #OnlyinDubai. According to recent police figures, 15% of traffic fines issued in Dubai every day are for driving at speeds in excess of 130 m.p.h., reported Sky News.
