ProMetic Begins Trading on OTCQX(R) L

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 12, 2013) - ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. (TSX LI) (OTCQX FSCF), ("ProMetic" or the "Corporation") announced today that its common shares have commenced trading on OTCQX International under the symbol PFSCF. OTCQX International is a segment of the OTCQX marketplace reserved for high-quality non-U.S. companies listed on a qualified stock exchange in their home country.

Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT:LTS) will serve as ProMetic's Principal American Liaison ("PAL") on the OTCQX, responsible for providing professional guidance on the OTCQX requirements.
