RESTON, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 11, 2013) - VeriSign, Inc. ("Verisign") (NASDAQ: VRSN), today announced that it has priced an offering of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.625% senior unsecured notes due 2023 (the "Notes") which represents an increase in aggregate principal amount from the $600 million offering of notes previously announced. The Notes were offered and will be sold in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers in the United States pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and to non-U.S. persons in transactions outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act. The Notes have not been registered under the Securities Act or any state securities laws and may not be offered or sold in the United States or to, or for the benefit of, U.S. persons absent registration under, or an applicable exemption from, the registration requirements of the Securities Act and applicable state securities laws.

This announcement does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy the Notes or any other security and shall not constitute an offer, solicitation or sale in any state or jurisdiction in which, or to any persons to whom, such an offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful.
