BOCA RATON, FLORIDA--(Marketwired - April 10, 2013) - Poly Shield Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:SHPR) announced today that it has appointed J. Douglas Faulkner, to act as the Chief Executive Officer and sole Director of Poly Shield's new wholly owned subsidiary, New World Technologies Group Inc. ("New World"). Steve Savage has been appointed as the President of New World. New World Technologies Group Inc. will focus on developing markets for proprietary technologies dealing with energy saving, corrosion prevention, antimicrobial and other environmental applications. This newly formed wholly owned subsidiary of Poly Shield Technologies Inc. will initially focus on marketing newly licensed proprietary technologies for use in commercial properties, and land and sea port based operations.
Prior to being CEO and Director of New World, Mr. Faulkner was the President of Faulkner Capital Management, LLC, which he operated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 2005, during which his stewardship resulted in an 800% increase in profits on capital under his management. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Faulkner was the Senior Vice President of Private Client Services for UBS in Fort Lauderdale, where he was in charge of growing the Fortune 500 sector with UBS corporate products and services. Mr. Faulkner began his career in the financial service industry at Morgan Stanley in 1998, after attending Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio where he majored in business.
Steve Savage was named President of New World Technologies Group, Inc. on April 9, 2013. Mr. Savage was previously with EcoSystem's Solutions, Inc., a Hollywood, Florida company where he served as President from 2011 through 2013. Mr. Savage was also employed at Coast to Coast General Contractors, Inc., in Hollywood, Florida where he served as Vice President of Sales from 2010 to 2011, and with Miami Management, Inc., of Miami, Florida where he was the Vice President of the High Rise Division from 1998 through 2010. Mr. Savage attended the University of Tampa and received a degree in Physical Education and thereafter received a Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Florida, and a Community Association Management License in 1993.
