Now, I fully appreciate that fellow board member My69 has been vociferously advocating and predicting that CYDY should/will go it alone for quite awhile, but it was hard for me to buy into his logic when CYDY continued to plug along with less than 10 employees, many of whom were part time. And even with the revenue potential of Leronlimab being practically unfathomable, I remained very concerned that the usual BP suspects for a BO or lucrative partnership deal would instead repeatedly tender rock bottom terms while exploiting CYDY's lack of bargaining power (otherwise known as leverage) due to its weak finances and obvious inability to market and distribute LL worldwide (or even in the US) with its skeleton staff.
Or, to put it another way -- when the article in the Journal appeared on August 27, CYDY bore no resemblance to RevMed other than the successful development of a miracle drug. But given Monday's conference call and the various announcements reorganizing CYDY's management team together with plans to imminently fill the type of positions necessary to go it alone on the regulatory, manufacturing, and distribution fronts, your timely reference to the RevMed storyline now seems possibly prescient. And, in the same way that RevMed utilized an unconventional approach to generate the considerable financing required to go it alone, perhaps CYDY, with presumably amazing Clover data on the near horizon, could do likewise.
Of course, putting in motion the plans to go it alone might also jar one or more of Big Pharma into realizing that the time to acquire a drug potentially far more valuable than Rasonque is suddenly growing short, i.e., that the good ship Leronlimab may be leaving the dock and be out of the harbor and into open waters much sooner than they previously expected. Accordingly, these latest moves by CYDY may have permanently altered the leverage equation here.
This poor soul also wishes to thank Dr Jay for all of his many efforts to save CYDY and Leronlimab during his term as CEO, not the least of which was identifying and tracking down the whereabouts of the Ladies of Leronlimab, and at the same time to wish Robert Hoffman all the best as CEO in the days to come.
