KRTL Holding Group Provides KRTL Biotech Update on Pharmaceutical, Botanical and Federal Development

https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/KRTL/news/KR...?id=535888

KRTL Holding Group Inc. (OTC: KRTL) (“KRTL” or the “Company”) today provided shareholders with an update on KRTL Biotech Inc., the Company’s wholly owned life-sciences subsidiary, and the pharmaceutical, botanical, regulatory and federal capabilities being developed within the business.

The update is the second in KRTL’s shareholder series. KRTL Biotech has spent the past year assembling a more defined platform around pharmaceutical and API development, botanical extracts, regulatory qualification, strategic partnerships and commercialization.

KRTL Holding Group management stated: “KRTL Biotech has progressed from identifying opportunities to building the regulatory, technical and commercial framework needed to evaluate and advance them. Rayel and Periko, our pharmaceutical and API strategy, expanded regulatory leadership and federal registrations are increasingly becoming connected parts of one life-sciences platform.”

KRTL Biotech Within the KRTL Organization

KRTL Biotech Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of KRTL Holding Group Inc. and serves as the Group’s life-sciences, pharmaceutical, botanical and regulatory-development platform. The Knowledge Research and Technology Labs Corp., DBA The K.R.T.L., operates beneath KRTL Biotech within the current corporate structure.

Rayel and Periko — Parallel Botanical, Commercial and Pharmaceutical Development

A central component of KRTL Biotech’s strategy is Rayel and Periko, two separate coca-derived formula and extract platforms that management views as distinct and equally important assets.

KRTL is pursuing multiple pathways around both platforms, including non-psychoactive and decocainized applications, botanical and specialty ingredients, beverage and flavor applications, analytical and research uses, formulation partnerships, pharmaceutical development, API-oriented opportunities, and regulated psychoactive or controlled-substance pathways.

Company records include a TTB formula approval record for Rayel Decocainized Natural Coca Extract, providing an existing regulatory foundation for its applicable beverage-facing use. KRTL is working to advance the commercial arrangements, manufacturing relationships and qualified partners needed to move applicable opportunities forward. Rayel and Periko may also be developed or licensed independently, together, by territory or by field of use.
Developing a South American API-to-U.S. Supply Strategy

KRTL Biotech is evaluating opportunities to develop pharmaceutical APIs and related supply relationships in South America for potential importation into the United States and participation in the U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain.

As part of that strategy, KRTL is working with prospective partners toward the development of an API manufacturing facility in South America capable of producing selected pharmaceutical APIs. The contemplated model is partner-led, bringing together qualified manufacturing, technical, quality and regulatory participants.

The objective is to connect API identification and development with qualified manufacturing, analytical validation, regulatory documentation, importation and downstream U.S. pharmaceutical relationships. KRTL’s qualification framework includes review of quality systems, API and CMC documentation, analytical specifications, facility and supplier qualification, traceability, import pathways and, where applicable, controlled-substance registration, security, quota and import/export requirements.
Expanding Regulatory Leadership

KRTL Biotech has strengthened its regulatory capabilities through the addition of Justin Abril as President-Designate and Strategic Regulatory & API Consultant.

Abril brings more than a decade of experience involving federal controlled-substance compliance, Schedule I manufacturing, DEA regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical quality systems and regulated supply chains. His role is intended to help KRTL evaluate prospective manufacturers, laboratories, APIs, botanical sources and pharmaceutical opportunities against the technical, quality and regulatory requirements necessary for advancement.

KRTL Holding Group management stated: “Identifying an opportunity is only the beginning. The next question is whether the facility, supplier, compound or manufacturing pathway can meet the regulatory, quality, analytical, security and documentation requirements necessary to move forward. Strengthening that capability allows us to evaluate opportunities more systematically.”
Expanding University and Research Collaboration

KRTL Biotech is also expanding its research-development efforts around coca-derived compounds and related botanical and pharmaceutical pathways. The company has begun outreach to universities and research institutions regarding potential research collaborations, with introductory calls currently scheduled.

These discussions are intended to explore areas such as analytical research, compound characterization, botanical science, pharmaceutical development and other research programs that may support the broader Rayel, Periko and coca-development strategy.
Building Federal and Regulatory Infrastructure

KRTL Biotech maintains an active SAM.gov registration with UEI ULPJWZWBM9L5, CAGE/NCAGE 109P9 and Purpose of Registration: All Awards. KRTL Biotech also maintains federal registrations and entity identifiers with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and SAM.gov.

Management views this infrastructure as supporting potential engagement with federal agencies, research organizations, prime contractors and other government-market participants, as well as the company’s ability to evaluate qualifying federal contracting, research and assistance opportunities. These registrations provide federal identity and visibility; they do not themselves constitute a government contract, funding award, FDA approval of a particular product or DEA authority for a controlled-substance activity.
Strengthening Regulatory, Qualification and Consulting Services

As KRTL Biotech builds regulatory and qualification systems around its own pharmaceutical and botanical programs, the company is also developing processes involving supplier and facility qualification, pharmaceutical quality systems, registration readiness, controlled-substance compliance planning, import/export pathway analysis, documentation, security requirements and inspection readiness.

Those capabilities are intended first to support KRTL’s own programs but may also create future opportunities to provide advisory, readiness and qualification services to appropriately situated third parties facing similar regulatory and supply-chain challenges. Management believes this strengthens KRTL Biotech’s consulting services by applying the same regulatory, quality, security and supply-chain disciplines being developed for internal programs to qualified outside engagements.
What These Developments Mean Together

Management believes the significance of KRTL Biotech becomes clearer when these developments are viewed together. Rayel and Periko provide two distinct coca-derived platforms being advanced across non-psychoactive, decocainized, commercial, pharmaceutical, API-oriented and regulated psychoactive pathways. The South American API strategy connects opportunity identification with partner-led manufacturing, qualification and potential U.S. importation. Expanded regulatory leadership strengthens KRTL’s ability to evaluate those opportunities, university and research-institution outreach adds a developing research pathway, and federal registrations and consulting capabilities broaden the platform’s institutional and service capabilities.

Together, these efforts are intended to develop KRTL Biotech into a broader pharmaceutical, botanical, regulatory and commercialization platform capable of identifying opportunities, qualifying partners, structuring development pathways and participating in supply-chain and commercial relationships.
What Comes Next

KRTL Biotech’s next phase is focused on advancing Rayel and Periko commercial and pharmaceutical development, pursuing qualified partners for the South American API manufacturing strategy, evaluating API opportunities for potential U.S. importation, advancing scheduled discussions with universities and research institutions regarding coca-related research collaboration, expanding pharmaceutical relationships, strengthening regulatory and consulting capabilities and identifying opportunities connected to the company’s federal infrastructure.

KRTL Holding Group management stated: “We believe the individual pieces are increasingly coming together. Our focus now is on converting platform assets, regulatory work, technical relationships and federal infrastructure into defined commercial, pharmaceutical and strategic programs.”
