Unlike stationary trees, these hazards move across the slope at varying angles:
The Danger: Giant snowballs tumble snowrider downhill and bounce across different lines, meaning an open lane can suddenly be blocked mid-descent.
The Counter: Never jump over a rolling snowball. Their vertical hitboxes are spherical and extend higher than your jump height. Always evade laterally, aiming to pass behind the boulder's rolling direction.
3. Terrain Faults (Crevasses and Chasms)
Sudden horizontal fissures that break across the entire width of the run:
The Danger: Misjudging the lip of the jump will send your sled tumbling into the abyss.
The Counter: Jump timing is everything. Trigger your jump roughly one sled-length before the actual edge. Jumping too early leaves you short of the opposite bank, while jumping too late results in your runners catching the drop-off before your hop registers.
