Even up ~300% over the past year, Alpha Tau is currently by far the most attractive risk/reward setup I am aware of in my biotech coverage universe, and I plan to continue to add to my position in the coming weeks ahead of the upcoming catalysts.
A recap of the eventful last few months that Alpha Tau has had:
April 2026: FDA allows expansion of IMPACT pancreatic trial from 30 to 40 patients and to include patients receiving background gemcitabine + Abraxane chemo.
April 2026: Begins enrollment in French pancreatic trial (40 patients).
May 2026: Begins enrollment in Italian pancreatic cancer trial (15 patients).
May 2026: Completes enrollment in the 88-patient ReSTART trial in recurrent cutaneous SCC (cSCC).
May 2026: Reports groundbreaking data from first three GBM patients.
June 2026: Reports pooled pancreatic cancer data from Canadian and Israeli trials at 2026 ASCO. These data were largely already disclosed.
June 2026: Announces deal with Tolmar in prostate cancer including a $20 million equity investment (at a premium to then-current price), $96 million of regulatory/approval milestones, up to $65 million of commercial milestones, and a 60/40 split of net revenues (60% for Alpha Tau).
June 2026: Reports go-ahead from FDA to enroll remaining 7 patients in GBM trial and to expand the trial to NYU Langone and Honorhealth in Scottsdale, Arizona.
July 2026: Doses first patient in ADMIRE study at MD Anderson in immunocompromised patients with recurrent cSCC.
