American Fusion (OTC: AMFN), developer of the proprietary Texatron(TM) Fusion Engine(TM), announced it has reached 100 pending patent applications after filing 17 additional U.S. applications covering key aspects of its fusion technology platform. The new filings expand the company’s intellectual property strategy around the Texatron(TM) platform, including aluminum fusion-confinement structures, clam-shell and unitary housings, hollow toroidal interior chambers, rifled interior geometries, electromagnetic field structures, fuel-injection systems, coil configurations and related system architectures. American Fusion said its strategy is designed to protect multiple embodiments, configurations, manufacturing approaches, operating architectures and potential future generations of the platform as it works toward commercialization.
American Fusion also filed a motion with the Superior Court of Alaska seeking to vacate a legacy default judgment entered when the company operated as Renewal Fuels Inc. The motion follows Washington state proceedings in which the court determined that a purported legacy acquisition involving Pacific Compliance Corporation was never consummated, Renewal received no assets or consideration and shares issued in connection with the transaction were void ab initio. The Alaska motion remains subject to court consideration and determination. American Fusion also said it intends to conduct a third-quarter shareholder survey regarding certain key company objectives.
