By anyway you slice it, that growth looks pretty, pretty, pretty good...
But how does it compare?
Tied for #4 but not really.
Blowing past Meta (formally known as MomBook). That is huge considering many only use MB messenger to sell stuff on MarketPlace.
Hey, maybe Tele should have TelePlace so more random people can show up at my house?
Telegram’s 1 billion monthly active users (MAU) places it as a massive global power, anchoring itself as the 4th largest messaging platform in the world. While it ranks behind the multi-billion user giants owned by Meta, it completely dwarfs standalone privacy-focused competitors.
The 1M mark is a phycological point for the market meaning...
it's big boy pants time.
To the astute flix followers, what do you notice?
Public, Public, Public, Private
That is huge equal opportunity that go either way...
A. Go PUBLIC and all the marketing momentum that surrounds that brings so much attention, more users and exposure to Gram,
B. Stay PRIVATE and you are the only the only game in town in this hacked world where everyone's private chats might be forsale.
Hey red, Discord is private!
You mean Discord who took a major step toward going public by filing confidentially for a U.S. IPO on January 6, 2026. The company is reportedly working with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase to prepare for its public debut.
But red, what about Signal?
Who, the NFP with 1M users and bad press.?
OK red, let's forget about Insta, but how does Tele take on WeChat or even WhatsApp?
WeChat dominates China by operating as a "Super App" where users can buy groceries, book flights, and text in one place. Telegram is actively cloning this model for the rest of the world using TON-powered mini-apps, allowing developers to launch storefronts directly inside chat windows.
Telegram is the West's "WeChat" Equivalent:
As for WhatsApp as well as Instagram, Messenger, their systems are walled gardens restricted strictly to standard banking rails. Telegram positions itself as the alternative for users seeking an ecosystem untethered from traditional banking infrastructure.
Which one do you like?
Me thinks the key for Tele is...
1. How to grow their premium user base. Telegram Premium reached 15 million paid users and is projected to expand into a primary revenue driver. Keep in mind, when is the last time you paid for MomBook? Probably not the top priority for Tele unless they want to go public.
2. Premium user base is nice but where the rubber meets the road and the catalyst for the future value of the GRAM coin is moving users from casual chatting to active blockchain participation.
The Conversion Gap: Currently, only about 1.78 million monthly active TON wallets exist compared to the 1 billion total user base—a conversion ratio of just 0.12%. The growth potential sits entirely within closing this gap.
To spark mass adoption, network fees were cut sixfold to accommodate global micro-payments and regional remittances. This was paired with a massive technical upgrade dropping block times down to 400 milliseconds to match consumer payment speeds (like Apple Pay).
Did you say speeds that match Apple Pay?

Conservative Price Targets: Because of early supply concentration risks, institutional analyst models map a modest outlook: ranging between $4.50 and $6.50 under average market conditions, with optimal targets hitting $10.00 closer to 2028–2030 if decentralized application (dApp) deployment scales successfully.
The upside is insane on the membrane given they have 99.88 of the existing userbase as their market.
That would be 99,880,000,000 users.
