Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP) has been selected by WOFT Charities (“WOFT”) to provide training support for the WOFT Teacher Safety Training Program, which received a $475,000 appropriation in Florida’s fiscal year 2026-27 state budget. WRAP will support training focused on situational awareness, threat recognition, early intervention, de-escalation and avoiding physical confrontation when possible. The program will provide practical safety and preparedness training for teachers, administrators and other school personnel, including real-world scenarios and practical self-defense instruction. The $475,000 appropriation was made to WOFT, with WRAP receiving a portion based on services provided, and should not be interpreted as a direct $475,000 award or future revenue to WRAP.
WRAP also has exclusive access to WOFT’s training facility, which is being developed as a national flagship environment for integrated WRAP training. The company believes the model could expand beyond education into law enforcement, private security, military and other professional safety environments, as well as private citizens, and eventually incorporate a digital training ecosystem supporting continuous learning, recurring proficiency and certification.
