Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP) a provider of non-lethal public safety technologies, announced that Stark Security Inc., a Chicago-based protective services firm, has selected and will deploy the company’s Wrap Reality virtual reality training platform across its operations and officer training programs. The deployment expands WRAP’s presence in the private security market, with Stark using the immersive platform to train armed and unarmed officers in de-escalation, situational awareness, communication and policy-based decision-making through realistic scenarios.
WRAP said the deployment supports its broader WrapShield(TM) platform strategy and reflects growing demand for immersive training solutions in the private security sector. The company added that ATF Ruling 2026-2, which classifies its BolaWrap(R) 150 as an instrument of restraint rather than a firearm or weapon under federal law, could expand access to civilian and private security markets as it continues to broaden adoption of its training and non-lethal response technologies.
