Investors should be aware that while an emerging gold producer is supported by its strong fundamentals, share price can be affected by its chart technicality. When the operation becomes insipid or when investors are weary of unfulfilled expectation, aggravated by declining gold price, short term bearish sentiment can set in. In the case of 1911 Gold, while the company is still delineating its gold resources to reach the 2 million ounce resource target before commencing gold production, short sellers is coming in at full force, perhaps aiming at filling the untraded gap at 36 cents. But the selling will create an entry opportunity for bargain hunters.
