Excuse the corny reference, but I think the more simple it is for people to understand, the better the market can grasp it. And if you like this, feel free to use it. I don’t care to make a penny off it.
The Boss Fight: How Tumors Defend and How Leronlimab Resets the Map
When you play a video game and you're finally beating the final boss, they will often pull out a sudden, broken, overpowered move that completely annihilates you right before they die.
That is exactly what a tumor does when it realizes it’s losing the battle against the immune system: it suddenly creates PD-L1.
Stage 1: Bowser Takes Over (The Tumor Microenvironment)
In the beginning, the tumor is just chilling like it took over Mario Land via Bowser’s Castle. It establishes its territory. The immune system (Mario) enters the level trying to figure out how to navigate the map, penetrate the defenses, and reach Bowser to eliminate him.
Stage 2: The Broken Shield Move (PD-L1 Expression)
As Mario starts gaining ground and putting serious pressure on the boss, Bowser panics.
He activates a last-resort defensive move: (he surrounds himself with an impassable ring of floating lava.)
This lava acts as both defense and offense. Not only does it form a shield that Mario cannot penetrate, but the lava actively hurts Mario if he gets too close.
In biological terms, this is the tumor expressing PD-L1, which binds to Mario's (the T-cell's) receptors, draining his health bar, and leaving him completely paralyzed and exhausted in a barren wasteland.
Stage 3: Leronlimab Blocks the Lava and Builds the Bridge
This is where leronlimab comes into play as the ultimate tool.
When Bowser activates this sudden flaming lava move, Mario is cut off from his destination.
Leronlimab functions by altering the map mechanics. It blocks the CCR5 receptor, which essentially allows Mario to build "more rock" right over the hazard.
By freezing the chaotic terrain changes and stopping Bowser from sending out signals that recruit extra enemy minions to crowd the screen, leronlimab builds a solid rock bridge directly through the lava. It neutralizes the environmental trap, allowing Mario to safely cross the barren wasteland and finish the job.
