short action math for any otc. cytodyn dollar trade volume per day looks like roughly $500k. lets say 50% long 50% short. so $250k short. 50% of that short action is the market maker algorithms providing liquidity. $125k left to be traded daily by "the shorts". on the message boards "the shorts" have always been declared to include various BP agents, hedge funds, fife, paulson, me, mazzy, a dozen or more others on message boards who are also not liked, in addition to a larger population of "shorts". exactly how many entities make up "the shorts"? and if mazzy is a short, what is his/her share of that $125k being traded each day? are there 125 shorts, some of them big entities, all sharing in the $125k of total activity? trading $1k each daily? making what, $10 profit?
so there's not 125 shorts? are there 10? surely there must be at least 10 infamous relentless shorts dedicating a big part of their very existence to chasing an illiquid penny stock with a daily range of 5 cents, right? so they trade $12.5k each, daily? they're chasing one penny of captured gain each day with $12.5k? i can tell you from trading stocks that if there's a 5 cents daily range, you would be very lucky to capture 20% of it. so if they trade PERFECTLY and utilize all $12.5k and get the full gain every time, like some sort of magic, the take is $125 per day, minus fees? that's what my younger cousin makes doing doordash. he has to live in his car because he can't afford to pay rent anywhere.
