i agree with everything you said in your post.
some sort of lucrative deal is on the way.
why and when - i guess both of those fall under "upon which datasets" - those matters are somewhat contentious. my statements on that and many topics are almost always too blunt, but regardless, even i, as the resident skeptic, agree that it seems extremely likely that a deal is coming, and that it will come in the near term. my definition of near-term might be different than that of others, but its near enough.
most here think that a deal is imminent already and that its therefore likely to happen this year. i think its less likely to happen this year, but i really like the prospects for 2027. and that difference boils down to... most here believe that the burden of proof has more or less been met via MSS data or is about to be met, while I am still waiting on the data that would make me believe that a deal has becomes imminent. and drilling down further, biomarker data is probably the biggest thing that separates our expectations. many of you feel that biomarker data is enough, while i'm less certain of that.
a deal will happen, it will happen "soon". we all agree on that. and that's quite a statement, as i spent YEARS fervently refuting all talk of "deals" being likely.
