I've got a friend with vitiligo. Last year I got him
I've got a friend with vitiligo. Last year I got him interested in leronlimab and CYDY... He'll be interested in the news.
Another indication to add to Ohm's List--inflammation-related depression. Turns out that one-in-three people with depression have elevated levels of inflammatory biomarkers, and further research revealed a link between IL-6 and depression. In fact they suggested the IL-6 pathway "may be one of the biological drivers of depression." A small trial of tocilizumab (an arthritis drug) "appeared to ease symptoms in people with hard-to-treat depression, while also reducing fatigue and anxiety and improving quality of life." Looks like another indication for leronlimab (much better safety profile).
Soon there outta be whole university departments devoted to CCR5 inhibition and Leronlimab. It's efficacy in cancer and, hopefully, in AD, should unleash a horde of eager PhD students on potential uses as an anti-inflammatory. Not to mention lots of work for the Big Pharma labs.
I've said this before--I'd like to see LL licensed out indication by indication, to maximize the development of this amazing molecule.
For humanity. To get it into people that would benefit. Sooner than later.
And for my bank account.
The dividends would be awesome...
Let Medicare and Big Insurance figure out how to price it and bill it.
