The, I am smarter than you sister in law decided to invest a 14k generator into the property before he passed. She also managed to get her name on his bank account and took 50k out for a new car and cruises. 12 months before he passed and weeks before putting him in memory care.
Spent 3 months, on reports and investigating with the Florida AJ office for Fraud, Grand theft and Elder abuse. They concluded family feud. No harm no foul...the joint POA ended on his death. Wife acquired the shiny stuff at that point just incase his assets got drain by the smarter than you sister in law.
So, it is time to just walk away and let the smarter than you sister in law have the 50k and HA of the modular. It will be interesting to see how much 50 pounds of shinny stuff matures...
