Skyrocketinsight just posted this on the IFlub board:
I had a lengthy discussion with Jason Novak to get a feel exactly where HIMR is coming from.
I challenged Jason Novak on their (HIMR's) use of the word shortly in their press releases.
Shortly means different things to different people and I told Jason my definition of shortly is under 6 months. Jason agreed that the term is used to loosely and had different meanings days, weeks, months etc.
I asked about the preliminary study on some lake in Latin America.
Jason said that they are already underway on the preliminary study to get a feel for the amount of wood that can be harvested (including the different types of wood - whose price can vary widely). Jason said that places like Home Depot for example want very large committments of wood before they buy in. Jason said that he thinks the prelimary here could go from 3 to 6 months.
I asked about length of time for building the TigerLynK once they decide to build it and Jason said approximately 7 months.
I also had Jason talk about reverse split. Jason said that they are working on building value to the shareholder by working on their share structure. AS / OS. Right now (I did not understand what Jason was talking about but he said they cannot lower the AS until the share structure is just right). So right now the AS is 10 billion and the OS is approximately 4.2 billion and HIMR is not done on working on the share reduction.
Jason also said HIMR would only consider a reverse if it was advantageous to both the company and the shareholder. IE. situation where they got a huge investor in the company.
Jason said something news worthy would be coming out shortly (and that is when I grilled him on the word shortly and what I thought about that term).
I also brought up about HIMR spending lots of money on their press releases and suggested that they use their blog more to keep open their transparency to shareholders. Jason said that was a good idea but that people do not use the blog often.
Go HIMR...
To better times ahead for HIMR....
