Genstar isn't a small player; they are a multi-billion dollar private equity powerhouse that has been operating at the highest levels of finance for nearly 40 years.
Founded: 1988
Formed by the former CEO and Chairman of Genstar Corporation (a massive NYSE-listed conglomerate) after its $2.6 billion acquisition by Imasco in 1986.
Currently manages approximately $49 billion in assets.
Genstar used its massive capital to buy the PDR Network and PSKW in 2015 to create ConnectiveRx. They later brought in Blackstone and KKR for recapitalization in 2020.

While the "founding ideas" for digital sampling might have started in the 2000s, (which David played a huge role) the current owner is a global financial institution. Unless a link appears in an $UNVC SEC filing, ConnectiveRx belongs to the world of Private Equity.
