One of the key charts is, of course, the ctDNA early decline. All the patients showed ctDNA decline by week 2 with a median of app. 70%, these declines occurred before radiographic scans, and those patients will have tumor shrinkage (or stable disease once thy are "imaged"
Any decline (>0%) indicates a response, even modest declines often correlate with improved PFS/OS, however a range of 50%-70% is a deep decline. More than 50% drop after 2- weeks strongly predicts improved PFS and OS so this decline is highly meaningful and this is exactly the kind of signal oncologists look for. Especially when it occurs as early as week 2.
Additionally, 9 out of the 13 patients with available RECIST data showed shrinkage or stable disease !!!
AND all minus one patients in this early dataset were molecular responders, which is unusual for refractory MSS mCRC.
I say we "are cooking with gas" (pardon the expression).
This is very good data dammit !!!!
