After reading through the recent posts, one thing is clear. The board has leaned heavily into repetition, sarcasm, and worst-case framing. Some of the concerns behind that are real. But repeating the same negative conclusions every day doesn’t turn uncertainty into fact.
My view hasn’t changed. I still believe Dr. Dalton is working toward something larger than what shows up in day-to-day discussion here. Whether this phase is integration, testing, revenue validation, or something else entirely, none of us on this board actually has a clear window into it.
That lack of visibility is what wears people down. I understand that.
Some people can’t wait any longer. Some shouldn’t wait any longer. That’s real life, and I respect it.
For me, my money is already in and I treat it as parked. I’m not here to convince anyone to stay or go. I’m not reacting to the mood swings on the board or the constant recycling of the same narratives.
I’m still here. Still watching. Still holding my own view.
If I’m wrong, I’ll own it.
If I’m right, the wait will make more sense in hindsight.
One other thing. People on these boards talk about old posters as if everyone who disappeared is still out there somewhere, still watching, still posting under another name, or still following the story from the sidelines. That may be true in some cases, but not always. I had a friend on this board who stopped posting, and I later learned he had passed away. So when people bring up names from years back, it is worth remembering that we do not always know what happened to people.
Either way, everyone has to decide their own level of patience and risk tolerance. I’ve already decided mine. Maybe I’ll post again in another couple weeks or months. Summer is almost here, sad to think about in terms of the time, but happy to enjoy it as well!
