Navy vet here. The US has been bullying China for 30+ years in their own south china sea. Not sure how you think China is going to do anything 1000s of miles away. When you talk about Fleet sizes you want to talk about Tonnage the US Navy is larger than the next 10 Navys(China, Russia, Japan, India, France, South Korea, UK, Turkey and Italy) combined. Their are 12 Nuke powered Aircraft Carries in the world, the US has 11 of those. Being Nuclear powered means they never have to refuel. It's what allows them to travel around the world nonstop. Other Navy's are pretty much bound to ports they can control.
