As someone who has no regulatory, drug company, or medical/scientific background of any kind, but whose economic livelihood for 30 years hinged significantly on his ability to determine which particular seashell(s) on a beach of evidentiary seashells would matter most in a jury trial, I agree with ScoreCarder that on CYDY beach the most important seashell is the ORR in the CRC trial, and that the ORR percentage won't become actionable until enough trial patients have had their 2nd CT scans confirming tumor shrinkage. And while several morsels of information, including what might be a few bread crumbs, have led me in a very optimistic direction regarding the eventual ORR to be established here, I certainly do not think it advisable to claim victory or celebrate yet.
The April 17 poster reveal at AACR will hopefully provide some ORR related data as of late March or early April, and the ASCO poster reveal at the end of May will likely bump the AACR data another 6 weeks forward, but that still may not be enough time for a meaningful number of patients to have charted their 2nd scans showing >30% tumor shrinkage. So, while I will be happy, in the interim, to read any well reasoned posts predicting eventual ORR success, as well as any well intentioned critiques of unsupported ORR puffery, I will continue to anxiously await the actual ORR data after the 2nd scans.
